The Drive MI Campaign is offering cash for photos or video of the state's worst potholes.

According to the the DriveMI website, one or more regional winners will receive a check for $370. That figure, according to the group, "reflects the added costs the average Michigan driver pays in vehicle repairs and time lost in congestion due to the state's poor roads."

This is the first year Drive MI will accept video submissions.

The Web site says contestants should let their creativity flow.

To view past submissions, the group has established a YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/FixMIRoads.

The Drive MI contest runs from Mar. 5 to Apr. 11 at 11:59 p.m.

Sign the Petition

The Michigan Transportation Team (MTT) recently announced an online petition drive for citizens who are tired of driving on pothole-riddled streets. Although the petition is non-binding and will not change the law, the names of petition signers will be presented to state policymakers to demonstrate the level of support in Michigan for investing in our state’s infrastructure.
